I asked this the other day but closed it by mistake... My hubby is a great barber but cant seem to find a brilliant employer so we are thinking of opening up our own shop... But I think it might be best to start by renting a chair from a salon 1st and save and/or build up clientele base. How much is the average price for a chair in a barbers? ie daily rate, weekly, percentage?( Im assuming that the salon would decide the prices apart from the specialist things that he is qualified to do that the salon probably wouldnt.)Chair rental for barber...?
Best bet is to wlak round local salons and ask if they will rent a chair. Cheepest isn't always best though.Chair rental for barber...?
